• "This was my 12th stay at 16 Pilcher Gate, and I have stayed in the one-bedroom studios, two-bedroom apartments and this time in the Penthouse Suites. This was a wonderful experience for all of us – after arriving by lift, direct into the main living area, this was an eye opening experience. What one sees is a huge open-plan space – to your left is a large modern kitchen area, ahead of you the dining area with marble table to seat six, next to which is a large seating area with 50” plasma television.

  An ideal place to have a banquet – the kitchen is equipped with all utensils needed, including bone China dinners service, the best polished glassware and cutlery and lots of extras too numerous to mention. There are two bedrooms, which are equally luxurious.

  My family’s first impression was ‘Wow! This is just like being in New York!’ – a great experience. I have become a good friend of Val, the House Manager – there is always a homely welcome when we arrive and I always look forward to my next visit.

She went out of her way to be helpful (i.e. DVDs and her husband taking our luggage to the train station when we left etc.). Overall we had a fun-filled, enjoyable vacation in England and hope to return one day – you can be sure that your accommodation will be recommended to our friends and relatives.

• "My husband and I stayed here for 10 days. Peter and Val were very accommodating - we were picked up from the train station after a long haul flight which made life a lot easier.
  
  The studio apartments are more like well-catered large hotel rooms and there's no front desk, but the location is very convenient and there is a Tesco just around the corner. Ideal for when you want access to a microwave and toaster etc to keep costs down."
• "I cannot praise 16 Pilcher Gate enough, but most important is the location, most central, no need for taxis, whether it is the train station or coach station, Broadmarsh and Victoria shopping centres, the Royal Centre or the Arena, all are within 10 minute walk. Also, we were looked after well by Val Mallone the house manager, most knowledgeable person, and makes sure that the place is spotlessly cleaned every morning.”

  “Rented a 2 bedroom suite for a week and had a very pleasant stay. Was very well looked after by Val the housekeeper and did not want for anything. Our suite was very large and perfect for entertaining. Was very impressed with the furnishings, well equipped kitchen to the very large bath towels. The location was ideal for shopping, two grocery stores very handy and two shopping centres plus restaurants galore.

  Clean, comfortable, spacious, secure, well located -we were very pleased and would highly recommend 16 Pilcher Gate."
